This is my next project… I have an Eames / Zenith (50’s) shell chair, and I just need to refinish it. I found some great instructions online and it looks really easy. I am debating on the legs though. These are the dowel legs and they look good. It comes with the thin aluminum legs (which I still have), but I am leaning towards making it a rocker. I have always wanted and Eames Shell Rocker. I will keep the original hardare and base just in case I want to go back.
